Freshet Foods · Domestic Food Processing

From American Soil and Shore.

We take in what this country grows, raises, and catches — and send it back out frozen, packed, and ready for the shelf.

Our Mission

Food that never
crosses an ocean.

fresh·et | \ ˈfre-shət \

noun  often attributive

: a great rise or overflowing, a swelling quantity, an influx

The spring surge that carries a river to the sea — and the name we work under.

To process, preserve, and distribute the finest domestic harvests. We exist to empower local producers, restore our native ecosystems, and prove that the highest quality food doesn't need to cross an ocean.
  • 01
    Empower local producers

Fair, standing contracts with the farmers, growers, and watermen in our own backyard — so a good season pays like one.

  • 02
    Restore native ecosystems

We build markets for the species and crops our waters and soils need harvested, turning ecological pressure into a product line.

  • 03
    Shorten the supply chain

A short, direct route from harvest to freezer. Fewer miles, fewer hands, fewer places for quality to slip.

What We Do

Processing, preserving,
and getting it there.

A single facility built to take raw domestic product from the dock and the field straight through to a finished, labeled, freight-ready case.

Frozen at Peak Freshness

Blast freezing on site, so product is held at the quality it came in with — texture, color, and nutrition locked in rather than lost to a long trip to a distant processor.

Processing & Packing

Cutting, portioning, grading, and packaging to retail, foodservice, and private-label spec — with lot-level traceability from intake to pallet.

Cold Chain & Distribution

On-site frozen storage and outbound logistics that hold temperature from our dock to yours — regional routes, full truckload, and LTL.

Domestic Sourcing

Direct relationships with U.S. farms, fisheries, and aquaculture operations. Every input has a name, a place, and a season attached to it.

Private Label

Co-packing and own-brand runs for grocers, distributors, and restaurant groups that want a domestic story on the front of the bag.

Food Safety

HACCP-based controls, documented sanitation, and third-party audit readiness built into the plant — not bolted on after the fact.

Sourcing

Defending the domestic supply.

Most of the seafood on an American plate was caught, processed, and frozen somewhere else. That's a fragile way to feed a country. We're building the other option — one dock, one field, one contract at a time.

~80%

Despite having the largest Exclusive Economic Zone in the world, the United States relies heavily on foreign supply chains — roughly 80% of the seafood consumed in the U.S. is imported.
